First Action with the App
Looking at the screenshot on the right, you will notice a plus sign (+), this is the action to add the ADHPs to your instance of the App. A maximum of 5 has been imposed to help keep the amount of data stored by the App to a minimum. More details on the ADHP List Screen Tab.
NOTAM Breakdown Validity
The NOTAM used for explanation should not be used for flight planning as it from 2011 and is no longer valid. There may also be occassion when the format is amended, NOTAM Apps will do our best to stay on top of these changes and reflect them within the App.

On clicking the plus sign the main sceen will be empty but the toolbar at the top of the screen will have navigation back to the Introduction screen and a magnifying glass top right, clicking this will reveal the search text field. Enter at least 4 chars to search for the ADHP name you want, the more characters you include the fewer search results will be returned. Press Go to initiate the search.
List Row details
On search complete the list will be populated, you will also be informed if no results were returned. Select the desired ADHP and confirm its addition to your list, continue with searching and selection until you have all the ADHPs you require or up to the maximum of 5 ADHPs. When you have finished press the arrow top leftof the screen to return to the Introduction screen, which will now have a different look in the toolbar at the top of the screen, more details on the ADHP Detail Tab.
This screen will display the NOTAMs stored on your device that were downloaded by pressing the refresh button. Each of the NOTAMs will be displayed in raw format, as you would normally see the data.
The triple dots or pressing the Menu button on older devices will open the Settings Page, more details on the Settings Tab.
Removing ADHPs and NOTAMs
The dustbin in the Toolbar is the method for removing the ADHP currently displaying on screen and all its associated NOTAMs, this allows for saving storage space or allowing you to choose another ADHP should you already have the maximum number selected selected.
The NOTAMs are not automatically refreshed you can carry this out by selecting the refresh button in the toolbar. This process involves the request being passed to the datestore, all NOTAMs that are returned will be saved and all previous NOTAMs will be deleted, this will help remove the possible confusion from storing out of date information.
This screen will display the available settings, only a few with v 1.0 more maybe added at a later date.
Colour Variation and Text Size
Two spinners are available, one to change the colours the NOTAMs will be displayed in, and the other to change the text size for the NOTAM display, this gives you the option to choose the best method for displaying the NOTAMs to suit your needs. If you require a different colour combination please contact us.
